Aquaman TV Spot Offers New Scenes Of Mera, Arthur & More

The first TV spot for Aquaman offering new footages has arrived and it gives another glimpse at Atlantis and the journey Arthur and Mera are on in their search for the trident.

The TV spot starts by offering an important hint that Aquaman movie indeed takes place after the events of Justice League. A group of thugs try to pick on Arthur asking him if he’s the “fish boy” from the TV. And Arthur reminds them he’s the “fish man”. Clearly, he is not in the mood to be picked on.

The TV spot also shows a shot of Mera using her Hydrokinesis ability. You can check out the trailer below.

The studio also released another promo, especially for the Chinese audience. The video begins with Jason Momoa saying, “Aquaman is coming to China”. Amber Heard is also present in the video and the two promote the DC film along with Yahya Abdul- Mateen II.

Fans in China will be getting to see the movie before the audience in the US. Deadline reveals that Aquaman hits theatres in China on December 7, 2018, two weeks ahead from its domestic debut.

In more Aquaman News, while the films’ promotion is high and underway, a rumor via a tweet gained traction stating that 20 minutes of footage was cut from Aquaman. Director James Wan was quick to debunk that its “Not. True.” The tweet can be found below.

As marketing ramps up, fans’ will also be getting to see a lot of the movie on magazine covers. Earlier this week, Director James Wan himself shared the cover for Total Film’s November issue which features both Arthur and Mera.

A new BTS still from the magazine has also made its way online which shows Momoa and Wan discussing a scene.

Aquaman hits theatres on December 21st, 2018.
