Along with the new trailer, Netflix released a set of new images for Luke Cage Season 2. While the series is scheduled to premiere this summer, the streaming service has officially started the promotion of the highly anticipated installment.

The set of four photos teases a few scenes from the upcoming season. The photos show Luke and Misty back in action. They will be combating a few bad men in what appears to be a parking lot. More pictures show the Power Man casually chilling at his salon and the superhero taking on a  few street thugs. Also, there is a shot of Luke Cage hanging out with kids and clicking selfies.

The images came hot on the heels of the big release of the trailer revealing the release date of the new episodes. The trailer shows Luke back on the streets of Harlem and has gained quite a reputation. After clearing his name, he has become a celebrity of sorts.

In the clip, he challenges his enemies to try him out if they doubt his powers.

“I am Luke Cage. You can’t burn me, you can’t blast me and you definitely can’t break me,” Luke says in the clip. Scroll down to watch the full trailer.

In the new season, Luke, once again, walks the blurred path between becoming a hero or a villain.

“After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain,” reads the official synopsis for Luke Cage Season 2.
