Marvel fans still cannot get over the fact that their favorite Earth’s Mightiest Superheroes were unsuccessful in defeating supervillain Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Thanos’ one single snap was enough to wipe out half of the universe’s population including Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and even Spider-Man. Well, a Reddit user has come up with a new hilarious theory that claims Thor could have easily defeated Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War if he had his magical hammer Mjolnir. The God of Thunder could have used Mjolnir to simply stop Thanos’ from using his Infinity Gauntlet and save the world form the disaster.
Unfortunately, Thor was left with no weapon after Hela destroyed Mjolnir in Thor: Ragnarok. This prompted him to travel to Nidavellir in Infinity War and create the mythic axe Jarnbjorn, aka Stormbreaker with the help of Eitri, the last of giant dwarf blacksmiths in the universe.
Reddit user toosiewillson used pictures to show how Thor could have just placed the hammer on Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet led hand and ended the battle altogether. You can check out the pictures below.
Youtuber The Hacksmith recently made a successful attempt to build Thor’s Stormbreaker. The channel creators have uploaded Part 1 of Stormbreaker’s construction video, which shows how the blade was designed on the computer and made. Well, this isn’t the first time that The Hacksmith creators have tried their hands on building a Marvel weapon. They had previously made a working Captain America shield including the electromagnetic gauntlet.
Talking about Avengers 4, the film is currently undergoing reshoots in Atlanta. Many of the film’s actors posted pictures on social media teasing the reshoots. Avengers 4 is rumored to feature the time travel theory.
A couple of leaked set photos from reshoots have shown the cast members donning costumes from their previous films which further suggests some kind of time travel narrative. Chris Hemsworth’s Thor was seen with his original long blonde locks, while Chris Evans’ Captain America was seen without the beard he sported in Infinity War. Guardians of the Galaxy actresses Zoe Saldana (Gamora) was also spotted wearing a dress very similar to the one that she wore in the first Guardians of the Galaxy film.
Well, we will find out more about Avengers 4 when the film releases in theaters in May 2019.
