Ant-Man And The Wasp: Sequel Teased To Be “Mind-Blowing”

Ant-Man And The Wasp: Sequel Teased To Be “Mind-Blowing”

Marvel Studios is all set to begin its production with Ant-Man and the Wasp this June. Although the original film didn’t gain mass popularity like other MCU films, the sequel has been teased to be more promising for the fans.

Recently, Entertainment Weekly caught up with David Dastmalchian and was able to get some insight on Ant-Man and the Wasp.  The actor seems to be quite excited to be part of the sequel and suggests the film as “mind-blowing” based on “some tidbits” he got to know.

“I can say Ant-Man and The Wasp is going to do things in the Marvel universe that they haven’t gotten an opportunity to do yet and I just got some tidbits the other day and they’re mind-blowing,” said Dastmalchian. “It’s going to be really cool.”

Going by Dastmalchian’s remarks, it looks like the sequel would be quite different from the original movie. The second installment also brings in a new superhero called The Wasp/Hope Pym played by Evangeline Lilly.

In the Captain America: Civil War airport fight scene, Ant-Man’s action sequences and special suit techniques had quite the improvement compared to the original movie. Perhaps, Ant-Man and The Wasp would introduce new creative techniques, tweak suits etc for a better experience. Fans are sure to get some update via set photos and clips as the film begins its production this summer.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to hit theaters on July 6th, 2018. Michael Peña also confirmed his character’s reprisal for the sequel in an earlier interview.
